In our house on memory lane.
Luckyboy is a collection of photographs and short poems coupled together to tell the story of a great love that bloomed fast and crashed hard. The series consists of portraits of Luckyboy, all taken on a single day in San Pedro, CA. The photographs’ accompanying poems trace the path of the relationship, following its progression from inception until the bitter end. Luckyboy was on display at the Museum of Broken Relationships February 2017, and the 72andSunny gallery in June 2017.
you took my photo while I was writing and said this is what you look like when you work your eyes full in love with head down, leg out, furrowed brow.
Does I'm sorry sound better in other languages / should I be more concerned about the tap water / is it snowing where you are / is there something I could have said / is there something I could have saidis there something I could have said ////

Better to be broken than to be untouched.
and you never move to DC / and your head still sleeps at the foot of my bed/ and your sweatshirt still smells like polo and half-smoked marlabro reds.
I shook you once but,
You are a dandellion.
It only got worse.
